06 April 2007 - 10 April 2007 > Scapa Flow Trip
This trip report is currently being written up by the trip organiser (Stephen). This will be uploaded as soon as possible.

09 March 2006 - 16th March 2006 > Red Sea Livaboard Trip
We will depart from Hurghada and not Sharm el Sheik
Main sites we will visit: Abu Nuhas, Giftun Island, Straits of Gubal, SS Thistlegorm and Ras Mohamed This trip has something for everyone. Starting from Hurghada and sailing north gives a perfect combination of reef diving and wreck diving. The famous horseshoe shaped reef of Shaab El Erg is a perfect example of the reefs on offer on this trip with its beautiful hard coral garden and the chance to see dolphins. Abu Nuhas has four well-known wrecks: Giannis D, Carnatic, Chrisoula K and Seastar, all offering spectacular dives and plenty of fish life.. more...

November 2005 > El Hierro

We understand that this trip is currently being written up by none other than our own esteemed Diving Officer. In the mean time:

Check out the photos here.

August Bankholiday 2005 > Aquamarine Summer Party
For those of you that do not know Fathom & Blues, they are our preferred provider for transportation to the dive sites off of Portland (which is a posh way of saying we like them coz they feed us chocolate and hot Ribena after a dive). They also do the UK's best toasted sarnies! For more information on F&B and the dive sites around Portland, check out their website (www.fathomandblues.co.uk). more...

  • A hyperbaric chamber is the perfect environment to test a divers ability at depth, but in the safe, water-free environment that it offers.
  • DCS often results from a divers inability to handle nitrogen narcosis.
  • Currently the PADI depths of the Advanced Open Water course are in our opinion not deep enough to really experience narcosis.
  • So if a diver, for the first time, does experience that surreal feeling they can panic and risk DCS.
  • Whether it's a re-breather or a new computer, a dry dive is the perfect environment to assess the function of diving gear in Central London more...
