Course Date Summary
Deep Diver Speciality May/June 2007 The purpose of the PADI Deep Diver speciality course is to familiarise divers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of diving between depths of 18 metres and 40 metres. The Deep Diver speciality course is intended to serve as a safe, supervised introduction to deeper diving within the limits of recreational scuba diving.

Nitrox Speciality May/June 2007 The objective of the course is to provide divers with the skills and knowledge to safely plan and make Enriched Air (Nitrox) Dives to recreational depths and using blends of Nitrox with less than 40% Oxygen.

The purpose of this course is fourfold:

  • To increase the awareness of the aquatic realm
  • To evoke a sense of responsibility
  • To expand public knowledge of the aquatic environment.
  • Introduce non divers to the beauty and wonder of the underwater realm.
